Newtonmore Riding Centre gallops into online communication
HTML newsletters, blogging and much more...
Previously the only online reference to Newtonmore Riding Centre was on www.ormistonhighlands.com, a website for the another business belonging to NRC owner, Ruaridh Ormiston. The aim of the project was to give Newtonmore Riding Centre it's own online presence and create an online environment to reflect that of the Riding Centre itself.
The new site gives the identity a real lift and makes sure to promote the various awards and accreditations given to the team there. Recently the Riding Centre had it's Visit Scotland grading and the representative from the tourist board commented on the benefit of the website to the Centre.
The team now have the opportunity to update Users by posting news items, blogging on the site, uploading images of events and much more. As well as talking to their customers and friends, the team know how important it is to listen and so offer an open guestbook so Users can leave comments and feedback.
In addition to these communication tools on the website, Newtonmore Riding Centre have opted to start sending their newsletter and updates out online. PDF versions of the newsletter are available on the website for download and updates are sent out via HTML email saving on cost and doing their bit for the environment. The site was launched using an HTML template designed by Yellow Cherry Digital, and from the moment the email was sent they could start to track User interaction.
